West Chester blanks QC

West Chester University shut out QC, 9-0, on Saturday morning at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Knights rap up their trip tomorrow at noon against Briarcliffe College.
WCU took the early lead with a run in the bottom of the first and added three more in their half of the third inning. David Fisher had two more hits in three at bats for the Knights, raising his average to .545 on the trip. Carlos Suarez also went two for four with a double and Timothy Francis pitched 2 1/3 innings of one hit relief for QC.
