Knights ace hurler named 2008 ECC Pitcher of the Year

Knights ace hurler Brian Honeyman has been chosen 2008 East Coast Conference Pitcher of the Year in a consensus of the conference's head baseball coaches. Honeyman was also named first team all-ECC while teammate Jamie Quinn earned third team honors as a first baseman.

Brian posted a 6-0 record with three saves and a 2.20 earned run average in 14 appearances for QC this season. He also pitched six complete games, including two shutouts, and struck out 64 batters in 57.1 innings of work while earning two ECC Pitcher of the Week awards.

Quinn batted .293 in 27 games and tied for the team lead with 19 RBI's and seven doubles. He also stole six bases.
