The men's soccer team will have a week off after its impressive 2-0 second-half win at Saint Anselm on Sunday (Sept. 9) and the Knights will travel to conference-favorite District of Columbia on Saturday to open ECC play. The volleyball team faces the defending league champion Molloy Lions on Wednesday evening in Rockville Centre before traveling up to Albany on Saturday to square off with Saint Rose. Both cross country teams will be in action over the weekend with the women running against Division I competition at the Iona College Meet of Champions on Friday and the men facing conference foes at the NYIT Invitational on Saturday. Lastly, the women's tennis team plays host to the entire region this weekend at the ITA East Regional Championships which are being held at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows from Thursday through next Monday.
