NOTES: The QC women's basketball team avoided a long Wednesday night road trip thanks to a win Saturday and an NYIT win on Sunday. The Knights now face the Bears for the third time this season, with the winner going onto the ECC semifinals at Roberts Wesleyan this upcoming weekend. Queens dropped both regular-season contests to NYIT in the 2017-18 season but it is difficult to defeat a team three times in a season...an ironic lesson that the Knights know all too well from last year when NYIT stunned Queens in the ECC semifinals following QC's regular-season sweep of the Bears.

The women's lacrosse team will kick off its regular season Thursday evening as the Knights head to second-year program Felician University for a 7 p.m. tilt with the Golden Falcons. The first-ever meeting between the squads will take place in Lyndhurst, N.J. at the Lyndhurst Athletic Complex as the Knights look to win their season opener against the CACC foe.

In other sports, the QC men's tennis team will attempt to extend its winning streak to seven games as the Knights play host to ASA College on Friday morning. The Avengers were victorious against Division III Yeshiva on Sunday, and the NJCAA powerhouse will come to Flushing to tango with a Knights team that shut out Franklin Pierce (9-0) on Friday in its last meet. The fencing team will head up to West Point this weekend for the NIWFA Championship meet, as well.
